Operating and Cleaning
Check out our brand new Barbecue Operating and Cleaning video below!
- Each Barbecue must be scraped, and wiped clean and dried before being returned to ATCO.
Pro tip: Line drip tray with aluminum foil for an easier cleanup.
Recommended Cleaning Tools:
- Rubber oven mitts
- Wire barbecue brush
- Oven cleaning/de-greaser spray
- Pressure washer or hose
- Clean cloths
Before Barbecuing
- Ensure BBQ knobs are all in the OFF position before hooking up the propane tanks.
- After connecting the propane tank to the regulator, open the propane tank valve slowly to allow for an even flow of gas. Check for leaks with soap/water solution.
- Once the propane tank valve has been opened completely, turn BBQ knobs to the ON position, ignite burners and begin barbequing!
After Barbecuing
- While the BBQ is still warm, scrape the grills, wipe down the sides with degreaser, and clean out the drip tray of grease and debris.
- After you are finished with the BBQ, close the propane tank valve first, then turn all BBQ knobs to the OFF position. Disconnect the BBQ hose from propane tank.
