Eligibility Guidelines

While we respect the efforts of Alberta’s many not-for-profit organizations, we are unable to support:

• Churches or religious organizations, unless offering broad, non-denominational community services
• Political or partisan organizations or events
• Private clubs, service clubs and fraternities
• Third-party fundraising groups or initiatives
• Requests that benefit an individual person or family. (e.g., weddings, family reunions, birthday parties)

Organizer Requirements

• The Event is open to members of the public.
• The Event is not personal in nature.
• The Organization and the Event are not associated with any public office, politician, political party, or religion
• The organizer is not misrepresenting itself as another individual or company.
• The event and related activities are ethical, appropriate, and respectful, avoiding any defamatory, threatening, pornographic, obscene, harassing, discriminatory, abusive, indecent, or antisocial behaviors.
• The event does not include any illegal activities.
• The organizer does not represent its opinions as those of ATCO.
