Operating and Cleaning
Check out our brand new Barbecue Operating and Cleaning video below!

  • Each Barbecue must be scraped, and wiped clean and dried before being returned to ATCO.

Pro tip: Line drip tray with aluminum foil for an easier cleanup.

Recommended Cleaning Tools:

  • Rubber oven mitts
  • Wire barbecue brush
  • Oven cleaning/de-greaser spray
  • Pressure washer or hose
  • Clean cloths

Before Barbecuing

  1. Ensure BBQ knobs are all in the OFF position before hooking up the propane tanks.
  2. After connecting the propane tank to the regulator, open the propane tank valve slowly to allow for an even flow of gas. Check for leaks with soap/water solution.
  3. Once the propane tank valve has been opened completely, turn BBQ knobs to the ON position, ignite burners and begin barbequing!

After Barbecuing

  1. While the BBQ is still warm, scrape the grills, wipe down the sides with degreaser, and clean out the drip tray of grease and debris.
  2. After you are finished with the BBQ, close the propane tank valve first, then turn all BBQ knobs to the OFF position. Disconnect the BBQ hose from propane tank.
