Cleaning

Each canopy must be wiped clean and dry before being packed up into its bag.

Display and appearance

ATCO Logos are not to be covered up
Equipment and accessories are not to be modified in any manner.
No food is to be cooked directly under the canopies

Fire Certifications
All ATCO Canopies are flame resistant. View the Fire Regulations Code.

Recognition Value
10x10 Canopy - $200 per unit
10x20 Canopy - $250 per unit

Set up
Each canopy must be secured to the ground after being erected. If event is longer than one day, each canopy must be taken down and re-setup for the following day.

Grass – every leg must be staked into the ground.
Asphalt/Concrete – every leg must have at least one sandbag.

It is recommended there be at least two people to set up canopies.

Eligibility

Eligiblity Guidelines

While we respect the efforts of Alberta’s many not-for-profit organizations to build stronger communities, we are unable to support:

Churches or religious organizations, unless offering broad, non-denominational community services
Political or partisan organizations or events
Private clubs, service clubs and fraternities
Third-party fundraising groups or initiatives
Requests that benefit an individual person or family. Ie: Weddings, family reunions, birthday parties, etc.

Organizer understands that ATCO has established criteria to determine eligibility of community organizers to participate in the Program. Organizer represents, warrants, and covenants that:

The Event is open to members of the public.
The Event is not personal in nature.
The Organization and the Event are not associated, directly or indirectly, with any public office, politician, political party, religion, or any similar person or entity.
The Organizer is not misrepresenting itself as another individual or company.
The Event and related activities could not be considered to be unethical, inappropriate, offensive, disrespectful or abusive to others, including but not limited to, defamatory or threatening activities, pornographic or obscene activities, harassing others, discriminatory, abusive, indecent, or other antisocial behaviours.
The Event shall not include any illegal activities.
The Organizer shall not represent its opinions as those of ATCO.
